摘要: Abstract Background: During pregnancy, women with spinal cord injuries are at risk for autonomic hyperreflexia (AH), which can result in hypertensive encephalopathy, cerebrovascular accidents, intraventricular hemorrhages, and death. Information the literature is limited concerning risks of developing AH after amniocentesis or fetal blood sampling. Furthermore, intrapartum obstetric management a patient history during prior labor uncertain. This case demonstrates safety performing intrauterine procedures trial such situation. Case: A 36 year-old patient, gravida 4, para 2, presented prenatal care chronic injury previous pregnancy complicated by intrapartum. her subsequent two pregnancies, she required four amniocenteses three samplings secondary to isoimmunization. With these was induced term early placement an epidural catheter. There no evidence any invasive uterine period. Conclusions: We found this that procedures, as sampling, did not AH. Data recurrence both procedural dysreflexia; however, proper precautions, vaginal delivery should be considered contraindication parturients
