摘要: Previous research has demonstrated the protective effect of family and sibling closeness on child adjustment, but fewer studies have investigated how is promoted within families. Guided by Family Communication Patterns Theory, we tested association between communication emotional behavioral closeness, whether adoptive status moderated this relationship. Participating families included 616 non-adoptive with two adolescent children. Hypotheses were using structural equation modeling. Sibling was highest in that emphasized both conversation conformity lowest only or neither nor conformity. Emotional differentially associated adoption status, age, gender. Few moderating effects found. Post hoc analyses showed gender composition.
