摘要: ABSTRACTSibling relationships are influenced both by the behaviors performed within relationship (e.g., relational work) and family system as a whole. This study extends communication patterns theory (FCP) examining whether communicative maintenance plays role in between FCP sibling satisfaction. Data from 327 adult siblings across United States tested using Hayes (2013) PROCESS revealed that conversation conformity orientation had positive indirect effects on satisfaction through (a) expectations (b) perceptions of actual behavior nearly all models (i.e., including positivity, openness, assurances, networks, tasks behaviors).
