摘要: The use of chemotherapeutics induces cardiotoxicity and affects immune functions, therefore development combinatorial agents against immunosuppression needs to be explored. Previous studies the hexane insoluble fraction (HIF) an ethanolic extract Ficus septica leaves showed anticancer effects singly in combination with doxorubicin on T47D breast cancer cells. In this present study, it was evaluated for its immunomodulatory activities doxorubicin-treated rats. Thirty male Sprague Dawley rats were divided into five groups consisting six each as follows: Group 1, receiving oral saline 10 ml/kg BW (control group); 2, HIF dose 750 mg/kg orally, once daily; 3, 1.500 4, given (normal 5, daily. group 1-3 intramuscularly administered at a 4.67 days 1 4 suppress functions. Concomitantly, treated or seven consecutive (1 7). Treatment succeeded reducing side based increasing lymphocyte density phagocytosis activity capacity macrophages, well CD8+ blood level decreasing spleen IL-10 expression. Hexane has potential protective agent combined doxorubicin.
