摘要: We aimed to compare two different salvage treatment strategies for relapsed high-grade glioma (HGG) patients by means of a new prognostic model. A simplified version the so-called HGG-Immuno RPA model estimates prognosis HGG and distinguishes three classes (I = good, II = intermediate, III = poor). The has been constructed with cohort 117 whose consisted re-operation followed dendritic cell vaccination (ReOP + DCV). However, using only predictors histology, age performance status, the simplified is basically independent from treatment. In present study we applied simplified model to the used to construct original and another 165 who underwent re-irradiation (ReRT) at relapse. Then, compared outcomes achieved treatments in each class. predicted good, intermediate poor 11, 31 75 ReOP + DCV 20, 39 106 ReRT cohort, respectively. Neither was superior other. groups 12-months survival rates were 73, 59 25 % after 72, 36 23 % ReRT, Being easy handle treatment, aforementioned useful therapeutic decisions. ReOP + DVC seem be equally effective. choice should based on expected side effects.
