摘要: Meningeal solitary fibrous tumors (SFTs) and hemangiopericytomas (HPCs) are distinct entities in the World Health Organization (WHO) classification of central nervous system (CNS) while they belong to same spectrum other locations. Well-defined histological prognostic factors also lacking for these tumors. In order clarify relationship between SFT HPC find immunohistochemical factors, we carried out a retrospective study 89 patients. The following parameters were recorded: hypercellularity, collagenic areas, cytonuclear atypias, necrosis, mitotic count per 10 high-power fields, vasculo-nervous adherences defined by engulfment vessel or nerve tumor, brain infiltration. We found overlapping features HPC. most relevant whole cohort both progression-free survival (PFS) overall (OS) univariate analysis high (>5 fields) necrosis. On basis results, propose new grading scheme which was pronostic value PFS OS uni- multivariate analysis. As extent surgery factor analysis, that management SFT/HPC might be based on quality removal grade.
