摘要: This chapter is concerned with designing and developing a knowledge-based system for evaluating concepts of new products selecting product portfolio. The model measuring the success includes metrics identified by an expert, such as duration cost development or net profit from product. contains set decision variables, their domains, constraints that can be described in terms constraint satisfaction problem (CSP). Knowledge base specified according to CSP framework it reflects company’s resources, performance metrics, relationships identified. presented knowledge discovery process consists stages data selection, preprocessing, mining context enterprise database. In order identify patterns, fuzzy neural networks have been used compared results artificial linear regression. illustrative example presents use identification patterns are translated into rules understandable users. proposed helps managers most promising portfolio reducing risk unsuccessful development.
