摘要: Utilization rates of organs from elderly donors have shown the highest proportional increase during last decade. Clinical reports support concept transplanting older organs. However, engraftment such has been linked to accelerated immune responses based on ageing changes per se and a proinflammatory environment subsequent compromised injury repair mechanism. We analyzed clinical consequences donor present mechanistic aspects correlating age, effects host immunoresponsiveness.
