摘要: Single photon ionization of argon and krypton clusters has been studied in the region between threshold potential corresponding atom. Synchrotron radiation from electron storage ring BESSY is used to ionize clusters; threshold-photo-electron-photoion-coincidence (TPEPICO)-time-of-flight technique detect ions correlated with emission zero-kinetic-energy-electrons. The spectra range ofn=2 15 are discussed view extensive fragmentation taking place these systems. In order characterize properties a method using scaling laws applied. principles deduction Hagena's parameter Γ* briefly reviewed. Using an experimentally derived mean cluster size for molecular beams can be assigned. This allows one clearly demonstrate systematic variations measured due fragmentation. As general feature it observed that, studied, peak rate ion (fragment) given shifts higher energies as increased.
