摘要: ABSTRACTScaling properties of TiO(110) surfaces, after irradiation with 3 keV Ar ions, have been investigated here. Ion leads to the spontaneous formation self-assembled Ti-rich nanostructures (NS) as well Ti vacancy states. The NS thus formed are elliptical in shape and exhibit a transformation less nature at high fluences. Scaling studies also reflect this transition. further reveal that surfaces self-affine increasing fluence regions correlated structures, or fluctuations, spread become bigger. This is connected bigger NS, causing long-ranged correlations on surface. On other hand, short length scales, jagged reflected by roughness exponent irradiated surfaces.
