摘要: SummaryObjective The aims of this systematic review and meta-analysis are (i) to determine the impact school-based interventions on objectively measured physical activity among adolescents (ii) examine accelerometer methods decision rule reporting in previous interventions. Methods A search was performed identify randomized controlled trials targeting (age: ≥10 years), conducted school setting, activity. Random effects meta-analyses were pooled total moderate-to-vigorous Potential moderators intervention also explored. Results Thirteen articles met inclusion criteria, twelve included meta-analysis. The small non-significant for both (standardized mean difference = 0.02 [95% confidence interval = −0.13 0.18]) difference = 0.24 interval = −0.08 0.56]). Sample age compliance significant activity, with a younger sample higher associated larger effects. Conclusion Previous have been largely unsuccessful, particularly older adolescents. There is need more high-quality research using objective monitoring population. Future should comply best-practice recommendations regarding protocols.
