摘要: Abstract One of the major problems encountered in industrial experience creep-feed grinding is thermal damage to workpiece and wheel. Thus, application cutting fluids especially crucial. In this paper an analytical model heat transfer between wheel, surface derived verified. The enables prediction maximum temperature when are applied, demonstrates energy partitions abrasive workpiece, also determines threshold occurrence film-boiling. Despite its simplicity, provides remarkable agreement with published data from experimental investigations finite-element analysis, for various conditions. cooling effect water-based better than that oil-based fluids, but resistance burning using worse fluids. When applied process, strong apparent. addition, a CBN wheel shows performance Al2O3 avoidance burning. fluid, Rc, can be improved by decreasing effective contact ratio. general, ratio achieved selecting higher porosity structure number. Further, shorter dressing time-interval choice wear flat area thus improving coolant on workpiece.
