Sterically non-hindering endocyclic ligands of the bi-isoquinoline family.

摘要: Bi-isoquinoline can be used as a building block to prepare new family of non-sterically hindering chelates, including macrocyclic system; the endocyclic nature ligands has been confirmed by X-ray structure an octahedral tris-chelate iron(II) complex, which shows that three chelates are easily accommodated in coordination sphere metal spite their crescent shape.
