摘要: Abstract 1. Infrared thermographs showed that heat loss of the raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides Gray 1834) is greatest from chest, head, abdomen and feet. The blue fox (Alopex lagopus) seems to be somewhat better insulated. 2. Mass−0.75 specific transfer coefficients (W/kg0.75 per °C) in both species were similar. wooden nest was able decrease it significantly. 3. results support conclusion loss, thus energy costs, studied could reduced by providing them with either a winter or rest-shelf cage.
