摘要: Multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWNT) was organically grafted with poly(oxypropylene)-amine (POP-amine) of 2000 g mol-1 molecular weight and became highly dispersible in water organic media such as toluene. The presence the POP pendants may render to MWNT an inverse temperature transition (ITT) for dispersion, showing a higher dispersing ability at lower below 21−27 °C, which is detectable by UV−vis transmittance naked eye. temperature-responsive dispersion behavior further demonstrated toluene/water biphasic system, taking advantage its relative both media.
