摘要: The natural diamine putrescine and polyamines spermidine spermine belong to a family of low-molecular- weight organic polycations that are classically known be important mediators cell growth, proliferation division. Several studies nowadays available about the involvement in various aspects - such as differen- tiation death cardiac cells, under physiological pathological conditions. Polyamine metabolism effects, their relation with number extracellular signals intracellular transductional cascades, have been investigated cellular animal models comprising cultures embryo, neonatal adult primary cardiomyocytes, heart-derived lines, stem well wild-type transgenic animals. Significant evidence for critical role (mal)adaptive (patho)physiology emerges from this extensive literature suggesting that, principle, polyamine may constitute target treatment cardiovascular diseases. In present paper we reviewed these studies.
