摘要: This chapter focuses on policy efforts to improve college access in India and Brazil, which utilize affirmative action higher education for historically marginalized groups. We compare structural factors impacting groups placing these their respective historical contexts. apply the concepts of intersectionality interest convergence from critical race theory (CRT) not only draw attention how race, caste, socioeconomic status converge affect but also further an understanding elites can maintain hegemony even face policies intended achieve social justice.
