摘要: This study investigated polyethylenimines (PEIs) with varied architectures as low toxicity and efficient catalysts for aqueous isomerization of glucose to fructose. Under the reaction conditions, studied PEIs achieved 33–36% maximum fructose yields 66–77% selectivity at 110–120 °C, branched PEI generally outperforming linear comb PEIs. Moreover, 1 wt % sodium chloride, 35–38% 61–72% 110 °C. After modification through room temperature cross-linking, was transformed into a recyclable heterogeneous catalyst similar performance (30% yield 78% 120 °C) homogeneous Remarkably, in presence neutral salts, an approximately 41% 72–78% °C showed excellent reusability.
