摘要: Background:The Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire (LHFQ) is a commonly used measure of health-related quality life in persons heart failure. Researchers have questioned whether LHFQ sensitive to subtle differences and sufficiently responsive clinical interventions because the instrument has demonstrated variable performance clincial trials. Objectives:A secondary analysis was conducted assess for sensitivity different states responsiveness varying intensities intervention. Methods:A convenience sample nine experimental or quasi-experimental studies from eight sites United States yielded data 1,136 patients Data had been collected at enrollment one, three, and/or six months later. were analyzed using descriptive, univariate, multivariate techniques. Results:Total subscale scores on poorer those worse New York Association functional class, although there no difference between classes III IV. No found when classified by ejection fraction. Scores improved significantly following hospital discharge, even control group. Changes greatest receiving high intensity interventions. Conclusions:The major symptom severity but may not be differences. It interventions. Investigators are cautioned against this without first maximising intervention power group comparison.
