摘要: Abstract Cardiac myxoma is the most common type of human heart tumor, yet molecular mechanism still poorly understood. In present study, we found that level myocyte enhancer factor 2D (MEF2D), a key regulatory protein for cardiac development, was elevated in specimens myxoma, and positively associated with proliferation cells. MEF2D suppression reduced cells its tumorigenicity. Cell cycle progression also inhibited by suppression. miR-218, which downregulated suppressed expression targeting mRNA 3'UTR. Altogether, miR-218/MEF2D may be an effective target treatment.
