摘要: The science of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) has developed significantly over the past 20 years, its functional role in today’s pharmaceutical industry matured to point where DMPK become an indispensable discipline support discovery development. While contributions lead optimization phase efforts have been particularly noteworthy helping select only best candidates for entry into development, it should be recognized that scope spans continuum through clinical evaluation even post-marketing phase; as such, breadth DMPK’s involvement is almost unique contemporary research.
