摘要: Objective:- To examine the association between exposure to stressful stimuli (heat) and cardiovascular risk in thermal power station workers with blood levels of serum cholesterol triglycerides. Material methods :- Two Hundred male were selected out whom 100 exposed heat emitted by boiler section for 8 hrs daily 6 days a week control group consists office staff who not extreme heat. Depending on age, they divided into four groups. (Group I (21-30yrs), Group II (31-40yrs), III (41-50yrs) IV (41 onwards). Estimation total triglyceride was carried enzymatic method cases controls see whether (stress) is associated increase lipid profile.
