摘要: Gastric adenocarcinoma is one of the most common malignancies worldwide. Histochemical and immunohistologic analyses classify phenotypes gastric into several groups based on variable clinical pathologic features. A new rare variant with chief cell differentiation (GA-CCD) has recently been recognized. Studies reporting distinct clinicopathologic characteristics proposed term oxyntic gland polyp/adenoma because benign nature GA-CCD. Typically, GA-CCD a solitary mucosal lesion that develops either in cardia or fundus. Histologically, this characterized by tightly clustered glands anastomosing cords cells. Immunohistochemically, diffusely positive for mucin (MUC) 6 negative MUC2 MUC5AC. However, other tumors such as neuroendocrine tumor fundic polyp have difficult to exclude. Because tends be endoscopically misdiagnosed polyp, comprehensive assessment observation an endoscopist are strongly recommended. Herein, we report case adenoma mimicking was successfully removed endoscopic resection.
