摘要: AIM: To investigate a relationship between the clinicopathological features and mucin phenotypes in advanced gastric adenocarcinoma (AGA). METHODS: Immunohistochemical staining was performed to determine 38 patients with differentiated adenocarcinomas (DACs), 9 signet-ring cell carcinomas (SIGs), 48 other diffuse-type (non-SIGs) of AGA. The were classified into 4 types: (G), gastrointestinal (GI), intestinal, unclassified. RESULTS: G-related highly expressed all histological subtypes expression GI phenotype SIG lower than that DAC (P = 0.02), this observed 56% non-SIG intramucosal layer. Among cases, significantly higher extended those positive rates lymph node metastasis. There no difference expressions G factors. patients, there differences survival corresponding patient groups. CONCLUSION: might possess more invasive characteristics non-SIG. Neither indicated poor prognosis
