摘要: Abstract The adsorption characteristics of metsulfuron‐methyl (MM) onto powdered activated carbon (PAC) and granular (GAC) were studied at varying solution pHs (4–9) temperatures (20–40°C). dependence pH was observed in aqueous with MM. film mass transfer intraparticle diffusion coefficients estimated from concentration decay curves obtained the batch adsorber. maximum capacity decreased increasing temperature. Among PAC used, coconut based had best capacity. isotherms could be plotted using Freundlich Toth models a reasonable degree accuracy. overall isotherm such as modified‐Toth model should applied. performances fixed‐bed GAC system also simulated by developed. objective present study to investigate behavior MM order diminish environmental risk ...
