摘要: Open anterior hip dislocation is a rare condition and results from high-energy trauma. Ten cases of open have been described in the literature so far. Its rarity due to inherent stability joint, its deep position pelvis, with strong ligaments bulky muscles around articulation. Several factors influence prognosis, such as degree compounding, associated soft tissue injuries, age patient and, mainly, delay reduction. The main complications are: arthrosis hip, incidence 50% cases, when fractures femoral head; osteonecrosis head, between 1.7 40% (in closed dislocation). Because potential disability this lesion, we report case 46-year-old man, involved an automobile accident. was reduced (anterior superior dislocation)in first three hours kept non-weight bearing until sixth week, complete weight after 10th week. After one year follow-up, functional result poor (Harris Hip Score: 52), probably because labral tear, but without signs head magnetic resonance imaging.
