摘要: Abstract The RAD10 gene of Saccharomyces cerevisiae is required for the incision step excision repair UV-damaged DNA. We show that also mitotic recombination. The rad10 delta mutation lowered rate intrachromosomal recombination a his3 duplication in which one allele has deletion at 3' end and other 5' (his3 5'). formation HIS3+ recombinants mutant was not affected by rad1 but decreased synergistically presence combination with rad52 mutation. These observations indicate RAD1 genes function together pathway distinct from RAD52 pathway. efficiency integration linear DNA molecules circular plasmids into homologous genomic sequences. suggest products act after recombinogenic substrate. mutations did affect meiotic or ade2 heteroalleles located on chromosomes.
