Extended end cap monomer for making advanced composites

摘要: The solvent-resistance and thermal stability of polyamideimides the general formulae: ##STR1## is improved by capping amideimides with a crosslinking functionality (Y) containing residue selected from group of: ##STR2## wherein R 1 =lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, aryl, aryloxy, substituted aryl (either including hydroxyl or halo-substituents), halogen, mixtures thereof; j=0, 1, 2; G=--CH 2 --, --O--, --S--, --SO --SO--, --CO--, --CHR--, --C(R) --; R=hydrogen, phenyl; T=methallyl allyl; Me=methyl; =a trivalent organic radical; 3 divalent radical. amideimide oligomers may be linear multidimensional, can processed into blends, prepregs, composites. Methods making these intermediates useful in syntheses are also described. One such intermediate has formula: Y.sub.i --CONH--R.sub.3 --NH.sub.2 focus present application.
