摘要: The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between carpal tunnel pressure and fingertip force during a simple pressing task. Carpal measured in 15 healthy volunteers by means saline-filled catheter inserted percutaneously into nondominant hand. subjects pressed on load cell with tip index finger 0, 6, 9, 12 N force. task repeated 10 wrist postures: neutral; 20 degrees ulnar deviation; radial 15, 30, 45 both flexion extension. Fingertip loading significantly increased for all angles (p = 0.0001). Post hoc analyses identified significant increase < 0.05) unloaded (0 N) loaded conditions, as well 6 conditions. This demonstrates that process whereby elevates is independent posture relatively small loads have large effect pressure. It also reveals response characteristics loading, which one step understanding sustained grip pinch activities aggravation or development median neuropathy at wrist.
