摘要: This book, published in 2014, is a collection of papers and research results projects supported by SUMERNET over the years. The book comprises 3 parts. Part I, titled “Policy Think Pieces” covers issues Energy, economy climate change Mekong Region, Valuing ecosystem services Transboundary flows resources, people, goods, Urbanization sustainable development Region. II consists 11 reports from network member countries, namely Cambodia, China (Yunnan Province), Lao PDR, Thailand Vietnam, dealing with themes identified I. III synthesis on lessons for regional economic sustainability. As disclaimer, reviewer wishes to say at outset that review like this cannot do complete justice all raised dealt so it has be somewhat selective, based reviewer’s area interests competences. Overall, Policy Pieces good job outlining main facing GMS growing demands resources driven as national policy goals,
