摘要: To clarify the hole-transfer mechanism in DNA and factor controlling rates, kinetics of hole transfer was studied by monitoring transient absorption pyrene (Py) radical cation (Py•+) during pulse radiolysis oligodeoxynucleotides (ODNs) conjugated with Py. By analyzing Py•+ formed from to Py, rate constants various sequences were determined. The nearest guanine (G) Py weakly dependent upon distance between G, indicating occurrence multistep DNA.
