Nutritional support in the management of external fistulas of the alimentary tract.

摘要: A total of 56 patients with 65 fistulas was treated using one or a combination three modern nutritional acids. Fifty-two the (80 per cent) closed spontaneously and only 7 (10-8 required attempts at operative closure. The overall mortality (12-5 cent), which compared favourably 40 cent in an earlier comparable group had not received such nutrition.
