摘要: Abstract Smart glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) rods are used in conjunction with steel rebars (collectively, hybrid reinforcements) to reinforce two concrete beams. The GFRP fabricated using a modified pultrusion process, which allows both the embedment of Fabry–Perot fiber-optic sensors (FP-FOS) within composites, and successful recovery associated leads. beams subjected static repeated loads failure. strain state deflections during loading monitored by embedded as well electrical gages (ESG's) LVDT's. accuracy readings from FP-FOS is verified comparison corresponding ESG's. Collectively, experimental analysis shows that can be employed their counterparts successfully concrete. These fulfill dual role; reinforcing elements virtue mechanical properties long-term monitoring devices sensors.
