摘要: Understanding of microbial ecology has been expanded by means isolation, cultivation, and characterization microorganisms found in natural environments. However, there are still many bacteria which metabolically active but remain the so-called “nonculturable” state nature (44). This was originally recognized because difference observed between direct viable counts conventional seawater (17). Since then, ecological practical importance nonculturable cells have investigated debated with particular emphasis on Vibrio cholerae other gram-negative marine (3, 4, 14, 20, 43, 44). The general features entering can be summarized as reduction size (27), decrease macromolecular synthesis (28), changes composition cell wall and/or membrane (20, 26). little respect to bioenergetic state.
