摘要: In recent years, several authors have argued that the desirability of novel technologies should be assessed early, when they are still emerging. Such an ethical assessment emerging is by definition focused on elusive object. Usually promises, expectations, and visions technology taken as a starting point. As Nordmann Rip pointed out in article, however, ethicists not take for granted plausibility such expectations visions. this paper, we explore how quality might engaging reflection technologies. We propose expectations’ focus statements technological feasibility, societal usability, expected technology. Whereas feasibility statement and, to lesser extent, usability frequently quite futuristic, claims desirability, contrast, often display conservative stance towards future. Assessing behalf requires, then, careful well-directed use both skepticism imagination. conclude with brief overview tools methods could assess made improve them.
