摘要: The cutting of high performance materials requires specific machine tools and tools. wear resistance is important for turning hypereutectic aluminium silicon or titanium aluminide alloys. Abrasive waterjet has been shown to be a suitable process these challenging materials. tool life time at least 10 hours combined with material removal rate up 0.8 cm3/min low temperatures give this technology very potential. Furthermore the close surface less modified compared conventional rough turning. same effects are particular interest regard functional capability turned γ-TiAl-alloys.
