摘要: Neutrophils release neutrophil extracellular traps (NET) comprising of decondensed chromatin that immobilizes and kills pathogens. In vitro generation neutrophils on a large scale from hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) may be useful strategy for treating neutropenic patients in future, though it is not clinical practice yet. Microbial infections lead to major cause morbidity mortality these patients. Despite the importance NET preventing infection, efficacy vitro-generated HSCs form tested. We show functional could generated HSCs/MNCs isolated umbilical cord blood (UCB) apheresis-derived peripheral (APBL). UCB showed properties comparable those blood. also isolation absolutely essential generation. Further, we express PADI4 enzyme their NET-forming ability neutrophils. Taken together, our data fully can HSCs. an important parameter determine functionality thus, should studied along with other standard assays.
