摘要: AbstractCancer cells use glucose and glutamine to facilitate cell growth proliferation, a process coined “metabolic reprograming” – an emerging hallmark of cancer. Inside the cell, these nutrients synergize produce metabolic building blocks, such as nucleic acids, lipids proteins, well energy (ATP), glutathione reducing equivalents (NADPH), required for survival, proliferation. Intense research aimed at understanding underlying cause rewiring has revealed that established oncogenes tumor suppressors involved in signaling alter cellular metabolism contribute transition from normal quiescent rapidly proliferating cancer cell. Likewise, bona fide sensors are regulators tumorigenesis. This review will focus on one family sensors, sirtuins, which utilize NAD+ cofactor catalyze deacetylation, deacylation ADP-ribosylation their protein substrates. In this review, we enumerate how ca...
