摘要: Best Management Practices (BMPs) are one of the most effective methods to control nonpoint source (NPS) pollution at a watershed scale. In this paper, use topography analysis incorporated optimization method (TAIOM) was proposed, which integrates with cost-effective optimization. The surface status, slope and type land were evaluated as inputs for engine. A genetic algorithm program coded obtain final TAIOM validated in conjunction Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) Yulin Southwestern China. results showed that more than traditional methods. distribution selected BMPs throughout landscapes comprising relatively flat plains gentle slopes, suggests need operationally scheme, such TAIOM, determine practicability before widespread adoption. developed study can easily be extended other watersheds help decision makers NPS pollution.
