Viscoelastic properties and filler dispersion in carbon black‐filled and silica‐filled cross‐linked natural rubbers

摘要: The activation energies (ΔEJ ′ and ΔEJ″) calculated from the temperature dependence of storage compliance (J′) loss (J″) carbon black (CB)-filled, hydrophobic silica- hydrophilic silica-filled cross-linked natural rubbers (NRs) were found to be less than 15 kJ mol−1, which corresponds physical range van der Waals interaction. results three-dimensional-transmission electron microscopy measurements indicate that closest distance (dp) between two neighboring nanofiller aggregates centers decreased sharply with increasing loading tended become constant at a around 30 phr or higher. For all samples examined, there regions related elastic deformation energy, critical dp value was in order CB > silica = silica. Additionally, ΔEJ′ developed region longer ΔEJ″. On other hand, ΔEJ″ occurred after formation filler network larger ΔEJ′. is assumed slippage junction rearrangement network.
