摘要: Abstract The average shear strength and elongation at failure of adhesively bonded single lap joints (SLJs) were studied when different mixtures two nanoparticles i.e. silica (SNPs) multi walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) added to the adhesive. experimental results showed that adding mixed had a significant effect on mechanical behavior SLJs. highest improvements in among weight percentages investigated 28% 36%, respectively, which related 0.8 wt% nanoparticles. Moreover, improvement properties due addition MWCNTs SNPs was higher than obtained for corresponding single-type with same percentages. fracture surfaces damage mechanisms adhesive also correlation between joint strengths found.
