MR Imaging of Bone Metastases and Choice of Sequence: Spin Echo, In-Phase Gradient Echo, Diffusion, and Contrast Medium

摘要: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is the only technique allowing direct visualization of bone marrow and most sensitive to detect metastases. Sensitivity high, but a good understanding an informed choice acquisition sequences can easily improve specificity. Fat water distribution (spin echo), indirect trabeculae (in-phase gradient evaluation edema cell density (diffusion), study vascularization (contrast medium) should be cleverly combined enable detection lesion characterization.
