摘要: Abstract Bacillus subtilis consists of a large collection strains from which several cryptic species have been delineated, and most these along with within the are important biocontrol agents. mojavensis , recently distinguished this broad B. group bacteria, was determined to be endophytic potential due its inhibition maize mycotoxic fungus Fusarium verticillioides . Recently, we reported that patented strain produced biosurfactant Leu 7 -surfactin inhibitory fungi. In study, first objective validate identity strains, analyze genotypically involved analysis repetitive-PCR amplified DNA sequences PCR genotyping bar system. an effort understand further surfactin production, second screen for analogs. The results indicated all valid there genotypic diversity among great deserts. Further, study established can produce mixture surfactins comprised acyl chain lengths ranging C-11 C-17. These experiments indentified high producers C-15 surfactin, biologically active isoform. However, in vitro observed did not necessarily relate total concentrations, suggesting complex mechanism and/or presence other unknown factors.
