摘要: This report describes the clinical and laboratory features of seven cases acute leukemia associated with 4;11 chromosomal translocation. All children had lymphoblastic by standard morphologic cytochemical criteria. Leukemic blasts from six patients were terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-positive. Immunologic phenotyping suggested leukemias B cell origin; five expressed HLA-DR p24 (CD-9 antibody), three B4 (CD-19), two common antigen (CD-10). One patient's leukemic contained cytoplasmic immunoglobulin. Analysis DNA four demonstrated additional evidence differentiation heavy-chain immunoglobulin gene rearrangement. When rearrangement was analyzed, one light-chain However, flow cytometric analysis showed simultaneous expression lymphoid-associated (CD-19) myeloid-associated My-1 (X-Hapten). Electron microscopic examination patient that both lymphoid- antigens ultrastructural characteristics lineages. These findings suggest t(4;11) abnormality has mixed lineage as a result leukemogenesis in multipotential progenitor or aberrant later differentiation. Furthermore, serial karyotype, immunophenotype, genes revealed changes these biologic markers over time, suggesting continued chromosome modulation after leukemogenic event cells t(4;11).
