摘要: Many physiological processes in our body are controlled by the biological clock and show circadian rhythmicity. It is generally accepted that a robust rhythm prerequisite for optimal functioning lack of rhythmicity can contribute to pathogenesis various diseases. Here, we tested heterogeneous laboratory zebrafish population whether how variation associated with coping styles individual animals, as assessed behavioural assay reliably measure this along continuum between proactive reactive extremes. Using RNA sequencing on brain samples, demonstrated prominent difference expression level genes involved individuals. Subsequently, correlation gene style was due consistent change or phase shift altered amplitude expression. Our data remarkable rhythms, which also reflected fluctuating concentrations melatonin cortisol, locomotor activity. This showed strong individual, ranging from rhythms large amplitudes fish complete absence fish. The decreased when challenged constant light conditions whereas individuals not altered. These results shed new role demonstrating may occur within populations. observed suggests forms an integral part styles.
