摘要: In the present study, kinetic analysis and modelling of glycerol oxidation reaction over unsupported Au particles were performed. The pathways, which determined in agreement with experimental results, comprise two types reactions, namely C–C cleavage. A homogeneous catalytic model was proposed by considering occurrence non-catalytic reaction, effect temperature, as well NaOH catalyst concentrations. could adequately describe data. under basic conditions but absence a favoured formation cleavage products (glycolic formic acids), while presence to glyceric acid direct promoted. Finally, it observed that tartronic not promoted followed route. Practical applications: building for liquid phase using gold-based allows better understand mechanism leading responsible some change selectivities process. parameters obtained this study would be used scale an industrial unit reactor modeling. The work describes (GLY) oxidation, nanoparticles. includes non-catalysed media NaOH/GLY ratio GLY/Au ratio. predicted results. Unsupported nanoparticles selective like glycolic acids.
