摘要: BACKGROUND Unlike Pt and Au, Ag has been recently reported to be an active catalyst for the synthesis of glycolic acid from liquid phase oxidation glycerol (GLY>). In order provide comparative information about kinetics this reaction using Pt, Au or Ag,> a kinetic model was performed each (Ag/, Pt/ Au/Al2O3), experimental results obtained at different temperatures. RESULTS A power-law proposed catalyst, which included Khang-Levenspiel evaluate potential deactivation. All three models predicted well concentrations. Pt/ Au/Al2O3 showed higher rate constants, being highest value that production glyceric acid. The lower metal particle size, constant was. Deactivation parameters played important role in Pt/Al2O3, so Au/ Ag/Al2O3 seemed more resistant deactivation. CONCLUSIONS This work reports first GLY Ag-based catalyst. It noticeable activation energies were range 48–97 kJ/mol.
