摘要: A new statistical method for estimating divergence dates of species from DNA sequence data by a molecular clock approach is developed. This takes into account effectively the information contained in set data. The mitochondrial (mtDNA) was calibrated setting date between primates and ungulates at Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary (65 million years ago), when extinction dinosaurs occurred. generalized least-squares applied fitting model to mtDNA data, gave 92.3 +/- 11.7, 13.3 1.5, 10.9 1.2, 3.7 0.6, 2.7 0.6 ago (where second each pair numbers standard deviation) separation mouse, gibbon, orangutan, gorilla, chimpanzee, respectively, line leading humans. Although there some uncertainty clock, this dating may pose problem widely believed hypothesis that pipedal creature Australopithecus afarensis, which lived Laetoli Tanzania Hadar Ethiopia, ancestral man evolved after human-ape splitting. Another likelier possibility transferred through hybridization proto-human proto-chimpanzee former had developed bipedalism.
