摘要: Anomia is a frequent and persistent symptom of poststroke aphasia, resulting from damage to areas the brain involved in language production. Cortical neuroplasticity plays significant role recovery following stroke can be facilitated by behavioral speech therapy. Recent research suggests that complementing therapy with neurostimulation techniques may enhance functional gains, even amongst those chronic aphasia. The current review focuses on use transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) as an adjunct naming for individuals Our survey literature indicates combining anodal (excitatory) stimulation left hemisphere and/or cathodal (inhibitory) right increase both accuracy speed when compared effects alone. However, benefits tDCS complement have not been yet systematically investigated respect site polarity stimulation. Recommendations future help determine optimal protocols combined are outlined.
