摘要: Aim Female urethral stricture disease is rare and has several surgical approaches including endoscopic dilations (ENDO), urethroplasty with local vaginal tissue flap (ULT) or free graft (UFG). This study aims to describe the contemporary management of female evaluate outcomes these three approaches. Methods a multi-institutional, retrospective cohort evaluating operative treatment for stricture. Surgeries were grouped into categories: ENDO, ULT, UFG. Time from surgery recurrence by type was analyzed using Kaplan-Meier time event analysis. To adjust confounders, Cox proportional hazard model fit recurrence. Results Two-hundred ten patients met inclusion criteria across 23 sites. Overall, 64% (n = 115/180) women remained at median follow-up 14.6 months (IQR, 3-37). In unadjusted analysis, recurrence-free rates differed between categories 68% 77% UFG 83% ULT being 12 months. model, also categories; undergoing having had 66% 49% less risk recurrence, respectively, compared those ENDO. When comparing directly, there no significant difference Conclusion multi-institutional demonstrates that have higher either graft.
